HADSEL
Nearly four years after recording the first parts the album is finally out! I am still excited every time when I get to hold a physical copy of my own record in my hands. This one feels particularly special since it was pretty much a solo effort, very much like my first record.

As of now, I have no tour planned and this might be the only live shows I will play for all of 2024. I still don't feel ready again for a proper tour both mentally and physically, so a few shows in my current home town is the best I can do right now. I'm very sorry for all of you who are waiting to see and hear me live but can't make it to Berlin for those dates. I wish so much I could bring this show to everyone.

THE TERN
The second single from my new album 'HADSEL'.
The base of this song comes from an old Roland synthesizer and drum machine part which I had lying around from a previous Berlin session. The lyrics I improvised on the spot and finished the song off by adding layers of church organs and hand percussion. I stacked the parts high despite always being afraid of overdoing it.
In the end I was confused how I had written such a seemingly positive and even hopeful song, but once I took a closer look at the lyrics, I saw the real nature of the hidden defeat and triumph of caution rather than of hope.
